Honolulu police have recovered a deputy sheriff’s personal vehicle.
It was reported stolen from the Keeaumoku area at around 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The deputy sheriff was not on duty at the time, however, his uniform badge, ID card, airport ID badge and a uniform shirt were reportedly in the trunk of the car.
Officials say no firearms were inside the vehicle.
According to the Hawaii Department of Public Safety, authorities found the car in Moanalua Wednesday afternoon.
The status of the items in the trunk is not yet known.
