HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) has opened a first-degree animal cruelty investigation after a dog was allegedly stabbed to death in Nanakuli.
According to the Hawaiian Humane Society, the incident happened on Tuesday, Oct. 5, after they arrived at the scene as an emergency response.

It is unknown what happened or who may have been behind the incident, and no arrests have been made.
