The owner of the boat that went up in flames at the Ala Wai Boat Harbor this week has been arrested for contempt of court at 11:05 a.m. Thursday.
The DLNR Division of Conservation Resources Enforcement Division (DOCARE) officers arrested him at Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor
The Department of Land and Natural Resources DOCARE had cited Salvatore Di Amore last year for mooring without a permit.
He was supposed to go to court, but didn’t so a warrant was issued for his arrest.
His bail is set at $150.
“Scofflaws be aware, we will hold violators accountable for their actions and physically arrest them if necessary, ” said DLNR Deputy Enforcement Chief Jason Redulla.
