HONOLULU (KHON2) — Hawaiian Electric reported a power outage around 9:20 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24.
According to HECO, about 1,645 customers were without power in Moiliili and Kaimuki.

At 9:50 a.m., power was restored to all customers.
The outage was caused by a balloon in the power line, according to HECO.
