No tsunami threat to Hawaii after 7.1 magnitude earthquake strikes near Indonesia

HONOLULU (KHON2) A 7.1 magnitude struck near Indonesia on Thursday.

The quake happened at around 6:20 a.m. HST.

Any injuries and damage is unclear at this time.

According to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center there is no tsunami threat for the state of Hawaii.
