The University of Hawaii at Manoa has a new look in the form of 85 banners.
The banners are featured all over the campus, along Campus Center, the Warrior Recreation Center, Correa Road, student housing, along Lower Campus Road, near the music building, fronting Dole Street, and along East-West Road.
They feature a diverse group of students, alumni and staff, who were randomly selected and asked what they like best about or why they chose to attend UH Manoa.
The goal is to promote school pride and welcome students to the 2015 fall semester.
“We needed a range of seeing what Manoa meant, the reasons people came here, what it means to them. So we think of the banners as a way to let people express that feeling they have about Manoa,” said chancellor Robert Bley-Vroman.
The banners are part of a year-long #FacesOfManoa marketing, social media campaign and beautification campaign.
