HONOLULU (KHON2) — A man who police say murdered his mother and dog made his first court appearance on Wednesday, February 26th.
Jamil Hart, 33, plead not guilty.
He has been charged with murder in the second degree, burglary in the second degree and cruelty to animals.
Hart’s bail has been set at $1 million. His preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 28.
