The man charged with the kidnapping of a UH Manoa student entered a not guilty plea today, according to officials.
Austin Joseph was accused of kidnapping the student after hitting a large rock on Kalanianaole Highway, April 3.
Joseph was initially charged on two counts — kidnapping and unauthorized use of her bank card.
But his list of charges grew to a total of 11, including counts of theft, robbery, identity theft, car theft and five counts of sexual assault.
His bail is confirmed at $1 million.
