Kaiser Permanente offers hepatitis A vaccine to members at no charge

In light of an ongoing outbreak, Kaiser Permanente members can get vaccinated for hepatitis A at no charge.

There are a few ways to do so:

Call for a same-day appointment at any Kaiser Permanente medical facility.

Walk into the Moanalua Medical Center from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. to get vaccinated. Check in at the Volunteer Desk in the lobby.

Starting Friday, Aug. 12, members also have the option to walk in at:

Honolulu Medical Office

1010 Pensacola Street

Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. (3rd floor)

Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon (1st floor)

Waipio Medical Office

94-1480 Moaniani Street

Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.

Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon

Check in on the 1st floor

Make an appointment at any Kaiser Permanente medical facility on Oahu, Hawaii Island, Maui, and Kauai.

Walk-in options are for adults only. Parents with children who need to be vaccinated should call their doctor.

Two doses of the vaccine are administered at least six months apart and provide lifetime immunity to the virus.
