Kaiser employees placed on furlough after being ‘potentially exposed’

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Five employees of Kaiser Permanente have been placed on furlough after potentially being exposed to coronavirus. The furloughs are paid leave.

Kaiser said “These furloughs are part of the protocols defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and regulatory agencies to ensure we have the right protections in place.”

The employees will be on furlough for 14 days.
