Ka Makana Ali’i to add second farmers market

Local News

Ka Makana Ali’i will begin offering a second weekly farmers market on Sunday mornings.

The Center for West Oahu currently has a market on Wednesdays evenings, and because it’s been a hit, they’ll add one on Sundays from 9:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. beginning June 3.

“We’re hopeful that this addition will provide a much-needed farmers market on Sundays in West Oahu and give the community a place to shop, dine, play and support local farmers,” said Stephanie England, general manager of Ka Makana Ali’i.

The Wednesday evening farmers market launched in October 2016, and runs from 4 to 8 P.M., featuring live entertainment by local musicians, fresh fruit, delicious vegetables, prepared foods, locally made treats, tropical plants, unique handcrafted merchandise and more.
