The Hawaiian Humane Society reports Tuesday that over a hundred dogs that were part of a Makaha rescue in mid-October are still in need of foster homes.

Eighty-five staff and 461 volunteers have dedicated more than 9,000 hours to feed, clean and socialize over the original number of 300 dogs rescued by the Hawaiian Humane Society.
