Honolulu police receive dozens of fireworks-related calls on Super Bowl Sunday

We’re well into the new year, but Honolulu police say they’re still getting calls about fireworks.

HPD received 64 fireworks-related calls on Sunday for the big game.

Police also add that the calls came from different parts of the island.

Anyone caught using, selling or possessing illegal fireworks could face up to five years in jail and a fine of up to $10,000.
