Honolulu businessman’s sentencing delayed

A federal judge has delayed sentencing a Honolulu businessman because of concerns about his allergies.

Albert Hee was convicted of tax fraud.

His attorney says according to a doctor Hee suffers from severe environmental allergies and is concerned about his care in prison.

The former head of Waimana Communications is accused of taking millions of dollars for personal use such as college tuition for his kids and massages.

A new sentencing date has been scheduled for Jan. 6.

Hee faces up to 21 years in prison.
