HONOLULU (KHON2) — Hawaiian Electric is warning residents about a new scam.
They say, ” Scammers are attempting to impersonate our employees and request property access to read meters specifically for rooftop solar programs. We do not do any special meter reading other than for normal billing unless requested.”
