Editor’s note: Jennifer Calkins was featured on Hawaii’s Most Wanted on Oct. 10, 2015. Her warrants were recalled on Dec. 10, 2015 and police say she is no longer wanted.
Honolulu police had been searching for Jennifer Calkins, a woman who was wanted on two warrants in connection with forgery cases.
“Feb. 17, 2011, Calkins took her vehicle to a repair shop and upon picking up had to pay a $500 deductible,” said Crimestoppers Sgt. Kim Buffett. “She uttered a check in someone else’s name and asked them if they could hold it for a week. After a week they deposited the check and found that it was an account that was non-existent.”
Police found Calkins and arrested her for theft and forgery.
She was also arrested in June 2013 for identity theft and forgery.
Calkins was wanted for two $20,000 warrants for not following the terms of HOPE probation until those warrants were recalled.
“She has 10 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Aiea and Waianae area,” Buffett said.
