Power outage impacts over 3,000 HECO customers in Makaha area

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Hawaiian Electric Company at 2:30 p.m. on Friday reported that approximately 3,150 customers are without power in the Makaha area.

The power outage was caused by a bird in the power lines.

Crews are responding.
