Local News

Hawaiian Airlines announced Monday, it’s cutting daily flights to the Big Island starting in July.

The flights being cut are one evening round-trip to and from Hilo and one evening and one morning round-trip to and from Kona.

As the carrier heads into a new fiscal year it says it’s expecting fewer bookings because of the volcanic activity on the Big Island.
