It was a hot, humid mid-May day. The Four Seasons at Ko ‘Olina was the gorgeous setting. Those in attendance were excited. All these elements were perfect for celebrating the music of Maui.
Amy Hanaiali’i sang a new composition that she wrote in honor of her genealogy. Na Wai ‘Eha’s vocals were wonderfully nahenahe (sweet, melodious). John Cruz was cool and enthralling as ever.
We heard from Trini Kaopuiki and her Wish Kid guests. We had a food segment featuring lechon. What else can be said other than ‘you missed out if you did not attend.’ The good news is that it was all part of a live audience taping that will be featured on Living808 in June.
Stay tuned to KHON2 to find out when you too can be serenaded and entertained.
