Honolulu police Saturday night investigated a body that was found on Tantalus.

Officers said the body was found along a trail off Telephone Road which intersects with and is above Tantalus Drive.

Emergency crews were called to the area just before 6:00p.m. Saturday night.

At this point it’s unclear if the body is a man or woman. We do know that homicide detectives were called out, but police have not commented on whether foul play was suspected in the death.

Fire crews were also on scene to help police retrieve the body.
