HONOLULU (KHON2) — Gov. David Ige outlined his line-item vetoes of HB1600, which is related to the state budget.

He made his announcement during a news conference on Wednesday, July 6 and intends to sign HB1600 on Thursday, July 7.

With this bill, funds will be available for Fiscal Biennium 2021 through 2023 to fund projects from Executive Branch agencies and programs.

Line-Item vetoes are appropriated for the Federal American Rescue Plan Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Funds, the Wahiawa Spillway and the First Responder Tech Campus.

HB1600 is also known as the Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2022.
