Fewer homeless on Oahu

There are fewer homeless on Oahu.

But efforts to get them into shelters are falling short.

That is what a new survey found. 

According to Partners in Care, the total number of homeless decresed by four percent compared to the same time last year. 

However, the number of homeless living in shelters dropped by nearly 20%.

Overall, the survey found that the number of homelss is at its lowest level in five years.
