The federal firefighter indicted for sexually assaulting a young girl was sentenced to 18 months in prison today.
Joseph Sonognini assaulted the girl between September 2014 and May 2016.
He was sentenced to 5 years probation and pay $34,000 in restitution.
Sonognini must undergo sex offender treatment, and register as a sex offender.
