After more than eight years, a French restaurant in downtown Honolulu is about to close.

Du Vin will officially close its doors for good at the end of the day on Saturday, Jan. 31.

A spokeswoman says the restaurant, which opened in September 2006, was in the middle of a 15-year lease, however a technical issue could not be resolved.

In the meantime, the restaurant will continue to serve food and is offering half-off all drinks while supplies last.

There are no immediate plans to reopen at a different location.
