More than two dozen dogs that were found neglected by their owner last year are ready for adoption.

This is a follow up to a story we brought you in October.

The Humane Society says the dogs owner was cited with animal cruelty.

Last Friday the group was awarded custody of the dogs and their puppies.

The 12 dogs will be up for adoption Saturday, March 12 at the Petco on Beretania Street starting at 10 a.m.
