A pedestrian crash shut down the westbound lanes of Nimitz Highway Monday night.
The incident was reported at 6:45 p.m. near the Sand Island Access Road intersection.
According to Emergency Medical Services, a man in his 50s was treated with “advanced life-support for apparent injuries to his head, body, arms and legs.”
He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
All lanes were reopened at around 7:30 p.m.
