MAUI (KHON2) — A big honor was given to a special group of people on Maui.
On Saturday, November 9, Akaku Maui Community Media hosted the 6th annual “Walk of Heroes.”
So who got their hands imprinted?
Maui’s most well-known community leaders: Kumu Hulu Keali’i Reichel, Akaku Producer Lucienne de Naie, Hawaii Wildlife Fund’s Hannah Bernard and Molokai’s “Ambassador of Aloha,” Pilipo Solatorio.
Solatorio is the first from Molokai to join the “Walk of Heroes.”
