Honolulu police have arrested Lianne Fonseca.

“On May 2, 2013, a female was observed entering Kmart in Kapolei with a large brown bag placed into her cart,” said Crimestoppers Sgt. Kim Buffett. “Loss prevention officers followed her and observed her placing numerous fishing items into her cart and enter an aisle where she took the items and placed them into the brown bag and conceal them. She did go to other sections of the store where she selected items, proceeded to check out and only paid for a few items.”

Police say when a loss prevention officer stopped her outside she threw the bag back into the store and took off.

Officers then stopped her vehicle nearby and arrested her for theft.

She was wanted on a $50,000 warrant for not showing up for her HOPE warning hearing in July.

“She has two prior convictions and is known to frequent the Pearl City area,” Buffett said.
