The Board of Water Supply (BWS) has completed all valve work at the intersection of Pensacola and Waimanu Street.
Water service to all affected customers was restored Thursday morning.
A broken valve on an 8-inch water main that was reported at around 2 p.m. Wednesday initially affected two high-rise buildings and a few area businesses.
All left turn lanes onto Waimanu Street were closed, forcing all traffic on Pensacola to turn right instead. Motorists were advised to avoid the area or to use an alternate travel route.
Crews worked throughout the night to make the repairs.
The main was originally installed in 1932.
