The wait is over for Brad the dog, who has been at the Oahu Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Oahu SPCA) for seven years. The Australian cattle dog mix found his forever home with a young Michigan couple after they visited Brad while visiting Oahu. Their family ranch will provide lots of open space for Brad to release some energy.

“He needs a lot of outdoor space and exercise to keep him healthy and happy.” according to shelter manager Ashley Weber.

After a thorough adoption interview and screening followed by weeks of planning and coordination the Oahu SPCA raised the funds for a pet-safe flight to their family ranch.

“Although we will miss him dearly, Brad deserves to be with a loving family in a place where he can thrive.” says Weber.

Brad will fly to his forever home on Thursday May 16, 2019.
