The Star of the Sea’s Food & Wine Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary next weekend, May 2 with a Ho’olaule’a featuring Hawaii’s own musical legend and multi-Na Hoku Hanohano and Grammy award winner, Led Kaapana.  He has been thrilling audiences for more than 40 years with his slack key guitar and extraordinary baritone and falsetto voices.  Also performing will be Hawaii’s hottest Hawaiian trio, Keauhou and Kona Winds, who first started playing contemporary Hawaiian music in Waikiki at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel.

This year’s Festival features many of Hawaii’s hottest restaurants including A Cup of Tea, Agu Ramen, Big City Diner, Da Spot Health Foods & Juices, Dave & Busters, Elite Catering, Gourmet Goods & Sekiyas, JJ’s French Bistro, Kahala Nui, Kona Brewing Co., Maile’s Thai Bistro, Ninja Sushi, Panda Express, The Catering Kalima’s, Kakaako Kitchen, and Romano’s Macaroni Grill. Trini joins one of the vendors, Kona Brewing Co., in Hawaii’s Kitchen to make some delicious sliders!

Enjoy an evening of food and fun for the entire family with games and rides for the keiki and a Silent Auction just in time for Mother’s Day.
