Meanwhile the park commemorates World Turtle Day with activities that share insights into the beloved Hawaiian green sea turtle.

This year, the park is providing a closer look at juvenile honu and a chance to learn about sea turtle anatomy and more. In partnership with Malama Na Honu, Sea Life Park will showcase the tools the Park utilizes in its extensive honu conservation efforts and provide keiki a chance to participate in hands-on learning experiences.

A special price for Hawaii residents will be offered at $14.99. Hawaii’s honu are one of the few sea turtle species to see a resurgence in their population, and this event is a great way to shine a spotlight on the important research and conservation work that’s helping these amazing animals.
