The Breezy Way is a singing group made up of three local girls: 13-year-old Lotus Machado, and 16-year-olds Rachel Faith Javier and Kailee Chatters.
“What brought us together was a great opportunity to do the World Championship of Performing Arts or WCOPA this past Summer,” says Machado who is a vocalist in the group.
“We saw some group acts and that inspired us to be a group,” she adds.
According to Javiar, who is a vocalist and musician with the group, the girls collaborate on their song choices, arrangements, clothing, etc.
“We all happen to have the same amazing voice teacher, Christina Brown. We all sing but what’s great is, each one of us have our own unique style,” says Javiar.
Javiar play the ukulele and just started playing the keyboards.
Kailee plays the keyboard and guitar.
The girls took 1st place in the recent Koko Marina Band Challenge by DisNDat and will perform at Children & Youth Day on Oct 7th.
