The Omidyar Fellows program seeks to cultivate the conditions in which Hawaii thrives by supporting mid-career leaders making positive movement on Hawaii’s most pressing issues.
In order to achieve this, Fellows participate in a 15-month curriculum and are part of a vibrant network called the Forum of Fellows.
The opportunity is to connect with like-minded leaders and change agents, develop the skills needed to foster cross-sector collaborations, amplify your efforts by engaging the skills gained from the curriculum and the relationships formed in your cohort and the Forum of Fellows, and utilize the variety of supports provided from executive coaching to workshops.
Superpower Academy is a social enterprise founded by Pamela Joe during her fellowship.
It is geared at empowering kids with social and emotional competencies, which research shows is critical for innovation, leadership, and lifelong success.
They offer monthly subscription boxes filled with “learn by doing” projects for your keiki to increase their socio-emotional growth.
