The Moana Surfrider hotel is having it’s second pairings event of the year and unlike most tradition wine dinners where one winemaker is featured, this event will feature wines from around the world with Master Sommelier Chris Ramelb helping to pair the wines.
It’s the Smokin’ Summer BBQ where Guests can expect summer BBQ themed dishes. First course will start off with a chilled hearts of palm bisque served with king crab, flavors of bacon and curry.
Second course we have BBQ Kauai prawns served with a charred corn salad and a spiced gastrique. For the third course we will be serving a smoked short rib with Brussels sprouts, warm potato salad, mustard vinaigrette.
We will finish off the dinner with a cheese course and a lemon cheese mousse, basil cake, raspberry cremeux.

The cost of “Smokin’ Summer BBQ” at the Beachhouse at the Moana is $120 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
