Aquaman has been a big hit but Jason Mamoa isn’t the only local boy playing a role in the major motion picture.
Local actor Kekoa Kekumano talks about his experience playing young Arthur in Aquaman.
In order to prepare for his role, he had to go through training with a stunt double, work with an acting and voice coach, and work out to make sure he was in good condition.
But, this probably isn’t the first time you’ve seen him on the big screen.
Kekumano played Nahele on Hawaii Five-O for four seasons.
He also recently finished a short film titled Hae Hawaii.
The film was featured in the Hawaii International Film Festival and won the award for the best short film.
He currently works as an Ocean Safety Officer with the City and County of Honolulu and he dances for Tihati Productions.
