Studies show that preschool education is critical to a child’s development.

If you’re looking for a preschool for your child, Kama‘aia Kids has you covered with their quality staff and variety of locations.

According to Kama’aina Kids Center Director, Vee Whorline,  Kama‘aina Kids has 22 preschool centers across the state: Six on Maui and 16 on Oahu.

“All centers are licensed by DHS and accredited, or in the process of accreditation by NAEYC and or NECPA,” says Whorline.

She adds, “each center has also been approved by Pauahi Keiki Scholars.”

Whorline suggests parents call all the locations they are interested in and set up a tour of the campus and then make a final decision that fits their family’s needs.

“We find that by visiting the preschool, you are able to immediately get a better feeling for how the school is run, its staff, and overall environment,” she says.

Kamaaina Kids Preschool is open year-round and are on a first come, first served basis.

Parents are encouraged to get their keiki on the waitlist if the age (class) they are seeking is full.
