In the Biz: Noma Home Builders grants wish of North Shore girl with cancer

Noma Home Builders is a family-run company that specializes in complete builds from the ground up.

Recently, owners Elika and Dean Daley teamed up with the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Hawaii to grant the wish of a North Shore girl battling cancer.

With help from the community, the Hauula-based company built a Harry-Potter-themed club house for her and her siblings.

“We tried our best to be as creative and as unique as we could to really fulfill her wish,” said Dean Daley. “This project is not something you see on a typical custom residential home. It has some of those features, but a lot of it is unique and out of the ordinary.”

The Daleys credit Insurance Solutions as a huge asset that allows them to have the resources to operate.

“Just having your own business is stressful as it is, and being able to call on them anytime I have a question regarding workers’ comp or general liability, commercial auto insurance. There are so many things that can be overwhelming,” said Elika Daley. “To be able to call on (Insurance Solutions owner Tracy Wong) anytime or email her has been a huge asset.”
