Honolulu Family Volunteer Day

If you’re into volunteering your time, we have an event for you.

Honolulu Family Magazine presents Honolulu Family Volunteer day that’s perfect for the family.

Honolulu Family Magazine coordinates with nonprofits on Oahu to offer multiple opportunities specifically for young kids and their parents on a single day.

Every activity is hands-on in an environment kids enjoy.

They do the research and handle the sign up so it’s simple for families to try different ways to give back.

Since they’ve started four years ago, they’ve offered four to five sites every year.

In 2019, children can clean and get a backstage tour of the theater with Honolulu Theatre for Youth, pull invasive algae out of the water with Malama Maunalua in Hawaii Kai, clean the loi at Ulupo Heiau and Loi in Kailua, working the botanical gardens in Waimea Valley on the North Shore and organic gardens at Keiki and Plow in East Oahu.
