Pint + Jigger is not your typical Hawaiian bar. Its East Coast-inspired décor and award-winning drinks and food are designed to create an escape from everyday life.

“We want you to feel like you’ve left Hawaii for a few hours and escape paradise to another paradise,” explained Dave Newman, partner of Pint + Jigger. “People come in here and they feel like they’re in Chicago or New York, and enjoy amazing craft cocktails, beer, and food.”

Pint + Jigger opened six years ago, when craft cocktails were just starting to gain popularity. Now, Newman notes, customers are leaning toward the classics, like Old Fashioneds and whiskey.

One of the bar’s most popular drinks is the Mesquite Smoked Manhattan, which has Buffalo Trace bourbon, Carpano Antica, orange and Angostura bitters, and is perfectly smoked with mesquite.

If beer is more your style, Pint + Jigger is constantly changing its 21 beers on tap to incorporate seasonal ingredients and specialty products.

Pint + Jigger’s brunch and dinner menus feature flavors from all over the world. The burgers are handcrafted with love and cooked not on grill, but in a pan and broiled in the oven. The popular Stout Burger is served with beer cheese, garlic aioli, lettuce, pickle, and fries. You also have the option to add caramelized or fried onions, bacon, or avocado.

To make this place even more interesting, an exclusive “speakeasy” room called Harry’s Hardware Emporium opened last December. It’s a private, intimate space that features a special menu and exclusive drinks that will make you feel like you’ve walked into 1920s New Orleans or Chicago. Those interested will need to make a reservation.
