Boneless Kalbi Ribs with a secret family recipe from Cinnamon’s Chef Carsi Green and a Moe Moe Loco Moco inspired by a customer are on the menu for our latest edition of Hawaii’s Kitchen at Chef Zone.
The ribs first showed up on the menu 34 years ago and it’s served in all 5 locations: Kailua, Ilikai, Las Vegas, Tokyo, and Yokohama.
It is served 7am-9pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week.
The Moe Moe Loco Moco is only offered in Kailua and was a special order by a regular customer.
It includes kalua pig, rice plate lunch, then added as a side order, beef stew and one egg over medium.
He asked the waitress to style it all on one plate and after he finished, he said he was going to have to go home and “crash” sleep for a while because he “ate the whole thing” and now needed to “Moe Moe.”
