Kona Street Eatz is the County of Hawaii’s first mobile food park.
The pilot project aims to support the mobile food industry by providing a safe and legal site for mobile food vendors to start, operate, sustain and grow their business, while also offering consumers more diversity in their dining-out experiences.
The park is open from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, except Wednesdays and Sundays, at 75-5608 Kuakini Highway.
There are about five vendors participating right now including Island Roots, Kona Dog, and Island Creations, but according to Kawehi Inaba, former Hawaii County director of research and development, there are hopes to expand the project.Related Links:
