The Hawaii Health at Work Alliance held its Third Annual Wellness Leaders Conference on November 8th.
This year’s conference was themed “Avoid Burnout and Drive Greater Performance at Work” and focused on helping attendees learn to maximize their mental and physical potential, improve their overall well-being and avoid burnout.
Their keynote speaker Brad Stulberg is co-author of the book Peak Performance and columnist at Outside magazine.
He’s a well-known personal coach and consultant to athletes and business leaders as they hone their mental and physical skills.
Stulberg talked about “The Practice of Sustainable Peak Performance” and emphasized three core principles:
• Stress + Rest: Growth & how this cycle applies to both individuals & organizations
• Priming & routine
• The science behind the power of purpose/mission
