Get fit for a cause at Bloomingdale’s Ala Moana

All month long,  Bloomingdale’s will be hosting events to benefit Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“This is the 14th year Bloomingdale’s continues its commitment to support breast cancer awareness and treatment during the month of October,” says Nancy Lueck, Marketing and Special Events Director at Bloomingdale’s Ala Moana.

She adds, “Shoppers can enjoy exclusive products and are invited to our store to get fit for a cause with a series of events each Saturday benefiting 2 important charitable organizations.”

A reservation fee of $10 will benefit the Marisa Acocella Foundation and The Carey Foundation which supports survivors and their families with cancer related costs such as transportation, child care and proper treatment.

The series kicks off this Saturday, October 6, with a Pink Yoga Class hosted by CorePower Yoga.

On October 13, shoppers can get sweaty with a workout led by Orange Theory Fitness and on October 20, Everlast will host in-store boxing classes.

Reservations must be made by Friday on; just enter bloomingdale’s pink yoga for this Saturday’s event, process the $10 donation fee and you’ll be set.

Doors open at 8:30am, the class starts at 9am.

You’ll receive a free pink yoga mat and gift bag as a thank you for supporting their charity partners.
