Dodgeball offers a great cardio workout from all that running around, ducking, and throwing balls.
In today’s Fitness Friday, Trini and Taizo play the fast-paced game with the folks from 808 Sports Leagues.
808 Sports Leagues is a charity-focused, co-ed social sports league in Honolulu for Hawaii adults (typically young professionals). Since 2007, they’ve organized sports leagues like Flag Football, Kickball, Dodgeball, and (soon to be) Volleyball to encourage Hawaii adults to have fun while exercising and networking. As a locally-owned charity-focused organization, 808 Sports Leagues helps teams “play for their charity” — the winning teams’ prize money (donated by corporate sponsors) will be given to their local Hawaii charity of choice. To date, they’ve donated over $40K.
At 808 Sports Leagues, they’re all about getting out, having fun, and meeting new people.
Registration for Co-Ed Flag Football Ends on 4/27 or Until Spaces Fill: You can register as a full team, a company, or as an individual or group of friends (you don’t need a full team) to sign up. Registration can be done on the www.808sportsleagues.com website.
