A staple of Waikiki, Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu is throwing a Big Game party, featuring 5 for $25 mix and match Miller & Coors buckets for game day and happy hour. Kelly went out to the restaurant to find out the details, and chatted with Darron Jeans, general manager at Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu.
Jeans explained what makes Hard Rock Cafe such a fun and unique place, “We do live music seven days a week. During happy hour four to six Monday-Thursday. Then on Friday night we switch it to more of a later, eight to ten happy hour. We’ve been supporting live music and live bands going back to at least 2010.”
As well as all the amazing deals, Hard Rock is also offering a new and exciting burger option. “Leo Messi partnered with us. That is his burger that he designed. It is two smashburger patties smashed flat, provolone cheese, chorizo, caramelized onions, spicy smoky sauce, lettuce and tomato. It comes with three sauces, a Latin chilli sauce, a garlic aioli and a chimichurri sauce.”
As for tickets to watch the game in comfort with great food, Jeans suggests an Open Table experience. Go online, sign up, pay for the ticket and check out the menu. Remember you are reserving a seat, not individual seats. As Jeans describes, “But it is first come, first serve. So the first people that come here that day, will get to choose their seat in front of the TV that they want to watch.” Make sure your party arrives early for a full day of fun and entertainment!
Hard Rock is located at 280 Beachwalk Avenue Waikiki. Hours are Sun-Thurs 12-10pm, and Fri & Saturday 12-11pm. Parking is available at the BOH building which they validate at $7 for 4 hours.
