Drone Wedding Photography

Mayberry Multimedia takes wedding videography and photography to the next level with aerial drone coverage.

According to owner, Leigh Anne Mayberry, drones can add a great perspective to wedding videos, especially here in Hawaii … but there are things to consider.

“Our first recommendation is to check with your venue to see if they allow drones. Sometimes if the venue is a hotel, is near an airport or military base, drones are prohibited for safety and privacy reasons,” says Mayberry.

But, she adds, don’t let that discourage you!

“If your venue is not drone-friendly, ask your photographer or videographer to capture aerial footage of the surrounding area instead of the venue itself. It’s also important to make sure your photographer or videographer is a licensed drone pilot, is insured, and has registered their drone with the FAA. A lot of venues will require the drone pilot to present their license before flying, so it is important to have all the logistics squared away from the start,” she says.

Mayberry Multimedia is a husband and wife team offering photography and videography services for weddings and events.

They offer both photography and videography packages starting with engagement portraits and love story videos, all the way through full wedding-day coverage.

They also include drone footage in all of their packages at no additional cost.
