Honolulu Magazine recognized the Crack Seed Store in Kaimuki for having “The Best Li Hing Icee” in it’s current BEST OF edition.
Mr. Young and his wife took the store over nearly 40 years ago and never looked back.
John Veneri started coming to this store when he lived down the street as a young boy.
He used to catch the bus up Waialae Avenue just to get “fire Picks” and the now famous “Li Hing Icee.”
“I’ve been visiting this store since I was a little boy and still come here as a big kid now. Mr. Young has been here the entire time and has the best recipe for Li Hing Juice on the planet. I put it in the icee, on Mochi Crunch and much more.” John explains.
