Moiliili Summer Fest
The 4th Annual Mo’ili’ili Summer Fest is this Friday, July 3 at the old Varsity Parking Lot, near Pucks Ally.
It’s a traditional Japanese Bon Dance meets street festival.
There will be food booths, pop-up vendors, family-friendly entertainment, and the heart of it all, a traditional bon dance – Honolulu’s largest bon dance.
Free parking is being offered at UH Manoa with a free shuttle to and from the event.
Xterra Freedom Fest
The Xterra Freedom Fest is happening this Saturday at Kualoa Ranch in Ka’a’awa Valley.
A variety of race events will be offered for all skill levels, including a 5k/10k adventure walk/run, 1k ocean swim, an xterra off-road triathlon, a mountain bike race, an ocean swim and also a kids fun run. There will be a bbq and free concert for participants. Tickets for family and friends who want to attend the bbq and concert are also available.
Eat the street/Turtle Bay July 4th Celebrations
Turtle Bay will be having a big July 4th celebration this weekend. It’s going to feature a North Shore version of Eat the Street from 2 pm-8 pm with various food trucks serving up American bbq themed dishes.
There will also be non-stop entertainment at various locations at the resort.
At 8:00 p.m., there will be a spectacular fireworks display to end the night.
