Many people don’t realize that the Honolulu Marathon sponsors races all year round.
To upcoming events are the Hapalua Half Marathon in April and the King’s Runner 10K in March.
Honolulu Marathon President Jim Barahal joined us to talk about how the events are growing in popularity and share information on signing up.
The Hapalua – “half” in Hawaiian, is the Honolulu Marathon’s 13.1m race held on the second Sunday of April each year.
The Hapalua is open to everybody and there is no time limit.
The King’s Runner 10K is perfect tune-up race for the Hapalua Half Marathon.
One month before the half marathon, runners can test their fitness on this flat and fast 10k.
